Simple. Powerful. Gear. For Swimming.

Swimming? Yes, you can wear a Hyper Vest® PRO for resistance training in the water to build strength and endurance and improve performance. Start out with flippers on and swim short intervals (make sure you swim with a buddy or a lifeguard on duty). Land-based training? Your SandBell® or SteelBell™ will be your favorite arm, shoulder, and core strengthening tool. Wear your Hyper Vest during your land-based training too. Keep your Hyper Vest® COOL close by during swim meets to keep you cool or toasty (you can cool or warm the gel packs) and ready to race.

PIRANHA SWIMMING Training Tips

Since swimming is quite the technical sport, watch the amount of weight you use in the Hyper Vest PRO when training with it in the water. To help avoid overuse injuries in the shoulder, be smart with your training. I use the SandBells or SteelBells with my swimmers to increase their core strength, overall stability, and explosiveness. The Hyper Vest COOL cooling vest can also be heated up to help warm the body after a race is over and the swimmer has to stand around waiting for their next heat. This is extremely beneficial as it helps the swimmer stay warmer longer, thus saving time and energy on constantly warming up over and over throughout a long meet.
