SOCCER Training tips
To me, soccer isn't all about long distance running; soccer players are explosive athletes that have to react quickly, move in 360 degrees, and keep moving without any TV timeouts. I use the Hyper Vest PRO and the SandBell or SteelBell with my high level USSF Developmental Academy teams to increase their core strength, overall stability, and explosiveness. By the time they reach the field on the weekend, their bodies feel stronger, lighter, and more explosive. I even outfit my goalie with a Hyper Vest PRO during some hardcore goalie drills. The vest doesn’t shift or migrate, it just adds weight while the goalie performs dives, jumps, and spins to get that ball. We use the Hyper Vest COOL just before game time to regulate muscle temperature for optimum performance (it also comes in handy during long, hot tournament days). I believe we have to win the first and last 10 minutes of the game, so my athletes have to be at their best at both times; the Hyper Vest helps achieve this goal.
